If you have never tried croquet, you definitely have to! It's a lot of fun...Jess' husbands' family introduced me to this game many years ago. We are all super competitive, and croquet will bring that out for sure!
My family has played Bocce Ball and Ladder Golf for a few years now. They are my personal favorites, and probably the easiest to get the little kids involved in.

Corn Hole and Kan Jam are both partner games, which we like to play since there are a lot of us. I love corn hole, mainly because it's a game of luck instead of skill ;) Kan Jam is a recent find that our brother Matt introduced us to. I haven't played (I'm horrible at frisbee throwing), but my husband absolutely loves this game.

Those sound very fun, the only one I've tried is croquet... and a pinterest summer activity I saved for us was cutting the (pool) noodles in half and seeing how many balloons you (or the kids) can get into a basket using just their noodle..
ReplyDeleteWe always have cornhole at our get togethers, and usually some horse shoes as well!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible at Kan Jam. Too much skill for me ;)
ReplyDeleteHave you guys tried Washers? Its really similar to corn hole and a great party game!
That sounds like a lot of fun...I'm sure my little ones would love it :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've never played horseshoes, but it looks fun :)
ReplyDeleteWe had Washers growing up, and I'm not sure what happened to it. It was fun!
ReplyDeleteWe have bocce ball but I've never played it. We love ladder ball, croquet and horse shoes. When we were kids we had a badminton set and a basketball hoop that were favorites.
ReplyDeleteOlive would like bocce ball - you should try it!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of ladder ball. My husband LOVES horseshoes -- he'll want to play it literally all day when we're camping. I suck at it, so I'm usually done after a game or two.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of games. Cornhole is on my to buy list!
ReplyDeleteCorn hole is my favorite. I'm so bad at it, but I love to play. You'd think eventually I would get better... but no. haha.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I've never heard of a lot of these games before! But I LOOOOVE playing games and now I need to expand my outdoor game collection. :) Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeletePinned! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe love outdoor games! My husband especially. We have played all of these but Kan Jam. I will have to look into that as I'm sure my husband would love it.
ReplyDeleteKan Jam looks like fun!!! Thanks for sharing with us at Waiting on...Wednesday! Hope to see you guys tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Kiki! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never played horse shoes...I can't aim worth a darn, so I'm sure I wouldn't be good at it either!
ReplyDeleteCorn hole is the best :) We have a Notre Dame set!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way - I'm not great at it, but it's so much fun I love playing! :)

We are just starting our collection and have several of these. My favorite game is the hook and ring game, I could play it for hours!
