Hello! I'm so glad you're here!!! I’m Jessica, and here's a little bit of my story...
I’ve been blessed with an amazing husband and 3 beautiful children through the gift of adoption. I worked in the dental field for almost 15 years, but I’m officially a stay-at-home mom as of 2015.
My husband Jim and I never lived in the same city or went to the same school or church, yet God still brought us together through a youth group while we were in college. My heart literally skipped a beat when I first met him – it was definitely love at first sight! I snagged him up by asking him to read and discuss a book with me (yep, we’re both big geeks!), and the rest is history. We have now been happily married since 2007.
Our plans to start a family right away were halted due to a diagnosis of infertility and other related medical conditions for me. Even though it was extremely difficult, by God’s grace and a strong leader in my husband, we offered up our sufferings and used this time to strengthen our marriage and Faith.
And after several years of heartache and lots of prayers, we felt like God was calling us to adopt. The journeys to adopt all 3 of our children were definitely roller coaster rides of emotions. Sorrow, love, fear, joy, shock; you name it, we felt it. But it has been so worth it in the end: our life is so blessed with J, B, and L! We’re looking forward to watching our kids – and family – grow over the years!
Besides these 20 fun facts about me... I absolutely love the arts – music, ballet, musicals, and art itself. I am definitely not musical, but I love to create art whether it’s decorating at home, designing a birthday party, or making a fun project for the kids. I just love being creative! (So much so that I actually recently opened my own Etsy shop as a creative outlet for me and as a way to help us raise money for our next adoption. You can check out Sweet Little Ones Shop here!)

Some of my long-time and recent obsessions are Switchfoot, milk (yes, I am a milk-aholic!), JRR Tolkien, healthy cooking, visiting zoos, Wicked the Musical, and Pinterest. I also love to read with my husband (especially The Lord of the Rings), to cook (but not to bake), and to watch Notre Dame football (and brainwash my children - Go Irish!).
