Today, I'm over at Abiding in Grace sharing our adoption story as a part of her Adoption Series. Sarah and her family recently adopted a little girl from China. She is such a doll! Sarah's honesty and heart for adoption is so beautiful. Make sure you check out Sarah and her adoption story!
So here is a little bit of each of our kids' exciting, difficult, and beautiful stories: (You can continue reading their full adoption stories in my post on her blog - links are below!)

J, L, and B - Our beautiful blessings! |
J's Adoption Story:
...Then, the day before we were supposed to meet the birthmother, we got a call from our agency. Well, my pessimistic self thought for sure they were calling to tell us that the birthmother chose someone else, so they were cancelling our meeting. Boy, was I in for a surprise - they were calling to tell us that she had her baby 6 weeks early... (Continue reading here...)
B's Adoption Story:
...So when Santa Claus is putting out all the presents at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve, we got the call that she went into labor. We took our daughter J to my parents' house during the wee hours on Christmas morning and then went to the hospital. What an amazing Christmas gift we were going to receive this year! Well, our son B had other plans... (Continue reading here...)
L's Adoption Story:
...So only 1 short month ago on a regular day in March, I decided to turn my phone off for 1 hour to charge it. One short hour. Well, in that one hour, our world went to chaos!
After my phone was fully charged, I turned it back on to see I had 5 voicemails and that I was immediately getting a call from our agency. Apparently, I was the last to know that we had been matched with a birthmother...who had her baby 2 days ago... (Continue reading here...)
It's so amazing to think that each one of our children was especially chosen by God to be in our family. You can so clearly see His Hand in all the details surrounding each of their stories. What miracles they truly are!
I always want to be honest in sharing the struggles and joys of our infertility and adoption journey with you. What helped me the most during our difficulties was to hear other couple’s journeys who had gone through the same thing. My prayer is that now I can now pass on encouragement and hope to others, like how those couples did for me!
I would love to hear how adoption has touched your life or answer any of your questions! You can comment below, or you can contact me through social media or at sweetlittleonesblog[at]gmail[dot]com. I look forward to hearing from you!
You’re in our prayers!
