St. Patrick's Day Celebration Favorites {Tuesday Talk #114}

My 3 little Irish babies from 2016

I can't believe St. Patrick's Day is already next week!  To help us celebrate, I'm gathering up all of our past faves and adding in a few new ones too:

Celebrating the man the day is actually about - St. Patrick!
Here are some fun and simple ways we celebrate St. Patrick's Christ-centered life on March 17th.

Craft
We're going to make Trinity clovers.  St. Patrick used 3 leaf clovers to teach the Irish about the Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  And it's still a great visual tool to use today!

Hair bows (and home decor)
These easy DIY felt clovers are perfect for St. Patrick's Day and Notre Dame football season. We wear them in our hair and use them to decorate our house too!

More home decor
I'm going to print off the St. Patrick's Day printables I've made for my shop and hang them up around the house!  (You can see all 3 prints here.)

Food
These Lucky Cinnamon Rolls by Whitney of Polka-Dotty Place look like such a fun idea! Although I'm going the easy route with canned cinnamon rolls!

We're also going to make Pretzel Hugs, but with green M&Ms.  I suppose using regular M&Ms and making them into a rainbow would work too!  Or maybe we'll put 3 green M&Ms on one pretzel to make it into a clover?  We'll have fun making all different kinds of St. Patrick's Day creations with these treats!

I just love making Pretzel Hugs because they're so easy for the kids to help me make, and they taste amazingly delicious.  We literally make them for every holiday...but nobody's complaining so we'll keep rolling with that tradition!

What are your favorite St. Patrick's Day activities?  How are you celebrating this year?
