Tuesday Talk - Favorite Party Ideas

Today, I am sharing some of my favorite party ideas from parties I've hosted. My family is big, and we love any excuse to get together and play games. We are super competitive and to be honest, most of us are sore losers ;)  But, we always have a good time being together! :)  My favorite games to play are Minute to Win It games. We play those at our Christmas party, Fourth of July, or just whenever...they are fun and easy to put together.

Here are the ones we did at our summer party last year:

Check out all the games in these posts: Games 1-5 and Games 6-10

Another fun party I hosted was our Fall Inspired Bridal Shower last year for our sister in law, Karissa. Here are some pictures from the party:

I love this picture of the girls with their Aunt Karissy :)

I know that most people hate bridal and baby shower games, but I personally love them! For her bridal shower, we played The Price is Right: Bridal Edition, a Disney Love Song quote game, and my favorite - Wedding Day Emergency Kit Memory Game. I added printable versions of those games at the bottom of our bridal shower post here.

Items for the memory game

This is making me super excited for a baby shower that I'm hosting this weekend! :) Happy Tuesday!

  1. Those minute to win it games look like so much fun! And I'm with you on the bridal shower games. I went to my first bridal shower a few weeks ago, and loved the games! My bridal shower is later this month so I'm crossing my fingers for lots of fun games. :)

  15. I LOVE Minute to Win It games!! My most successful classroom parties were Minute to Win it inspired games. The kids loved them and we were all laughing. I'm going to have to save this post and try to get my family to play some games the next time we are together. Oh and I also love playing and planning baby/bridal shower games.
