Notre Dame, Week's End, and Our Almost One Year Anniversary

We're so excited to be co-hosting with Elizabeth for Week's End today -
thanks for joining us!

First off, goooooo Irish!  What a win this weekend in the ACC basketball tournament!  Now, let's keep this up in the NCAA tournament!

Love thee, Notre Dame!

Ok, back to business!

It's almost our one year anniversary for our blog!  Looking back at our original (Hobbit-inspired!) post sure makes me laugh.  Little did we know what an adventure it would be!

It's been a lot more work than we originally thought - but it's been a lot more fun too.  We've grown as wives, mothers, and in our faith from writing and getting to know so many other amazing women out there.  It's been an incredible blessing!

So for our one year anniversary, we'd love to share our favorite posts:

Jess and Katie: Minute to Win It Party

Our family loves to play games.  And Minute to Win It games are just perfect for us because they're full of competition, silliness...and lots of laughter!

I wrote this when Tim was 3 months old - and it basically is still the same now that he's 9 1/2 months! I'm still learning to love my postpartum body and figuring out how to dress it with the changing seasons.

We met at Notre Dame and fell in love over a book.  We are that nerdy couple, and love every minute of it.  Looking back at our story makes me laugh at my scheme to snatch him up.  I'm so glad he took the bait - he's an amazing husband and father.  Oh my, I love him so much!

This water damaged, badly stained dresser turned into a gorgeous, hand painted (baby changing) dresser.  Talk about a Cinderella story.  (I guess that makes me the Fairy Godmother!)  This is the biggest DIY project I've ever done - and it was so worth all of the time and effort!

Recipe: English Muffin Pizzas

The kids love helping create their own little pizzas, plus they are so easy (and freezer friendly too).  They are so fun to make together as a family (as seen by my cuties' expressions below)!

Obviously, these pizzas are kid approved! ;)

I can't believe it's been a year since we started this blogging journey together.  We're looking forward to this upcoming year!  Cheers!

LINK UP
Every Monday I host a link up called Week's End! It is a place for you to link up your favorite post from the week and meet new bloggers. I love community and think that we can all learn something from each other! This week Jessica & Kate of Sweet Little Ones are my co-hosts!
