Currently: March 2015

I can't believe it's finally March!  It came in like a lion with a nasty winter storm, so I'm hopeful that it'll go out like a lamb.  At least, it better!  And all of this talk of snow and ice leads me to what I'm currently...

Summer last year...green grass, sunshine, and bare feet...sigh!

Dreaming:  I'm dreaming about green grass and flowers.  Leaves on the trees.  Visiting the zoo.  Playing in the park.  Taking walks.  Riding our bikes.  And flip flops!  Basically, I can't wait til Spring and Summer!  We've had several inches of snow on the ground and below freezing temps for weeks.  We can't wait to play in the backyard and take walks again!

Planning:  Our 10 year wedding anniversary vacation....ummmm, 2 years in advance!  We would really love to go to Yosemite National Park, so we've been looking into where to stay and what to do.  We went to Yellowstone a few years ago (pictured above), and absolutely LOVED it.  It was the most breathtaking place we've ever seen.  We've been in love with National Parks ever since.  So...any tips for Yosemite?  Where to stay?  What are the must sees?

Dancing to "Once Upon a Dream" in the crowns they decorated ;)

Making:  Lots of little arts and crafts projects with the kids.  We've been stuck inside because of the weather/temps, so we're still trying to have fun even though we can't go out!

Baking:  Mini pizzas.  We've been making lots of great meatless meals lately for Lent, and this is one of our faves since the kids love them too...making and eating them ;)

Can I get an Amen?!

Watching:  Besides Disney movies and Daniel Tiger?  ;)  I love Fixer Upper and 19 Kids and Counting!

Chip and Joanna are so down to earth and funny - plus I love their decorating style.  They make me wish I lived in Waco so they could decorate my house!

And I just love the Duggars!  (Admit it; you do too ;)  I'm so excited for Jill & Derick and Jessa & Ben as they begin married life together!  Anyone else fans of these shows too?

What a month it's been!  So what have you been up to lately?

  1. A friend and I had dinner recently and half of our conversation was how much we like the Duggars. Friday pizzas sound so much fun...I still can't have canned tuna after years and years of Lenten Friday dinners :)
