I think we just had the most perfect fall weekend ever. Beautiful weather, football, family time, and plenty of pumpkin fun :) We spent all day Saturday up at Notre Dame (or as Abby calls it, "The Irish").
While we were there, we met up with one of my younger sisters, Kelly, and her boyfriend, Paul. Now, Paul had come over earlier in the week and asked if we were for sure going to ND...because he needed a photographer....because he was going to propose!!! (insert about five billion smiley faces and exclamation points!). So, we found the perfect spot in front of the Golden Dome, and Paul pulled off the perfect surprise engagement! She never saw it coming :)
|She said yes!! :) Congrats Paul and Kelly!!|
I'm so excited for them, and it was great getting to see it happen! They've been together since high school, so Paul has been around our family for awhile now...he is a great guy and I'm glad my sister found him! :)
We stayed until right before halftime, and decided to head out. Abby was conked out in the front of the stroller, but here was our view in the back:
Happy little Timmy :) Why? Because Notre Dame is still undefeated!!! :) GO IRISH!
Sunday started off great because the kids slept in until 8 am (instead of the typical 5 or 6 am wake up call). So after church, we decided to head to the zoo one last time. It was all decorated for Halloween...and we had to stop and get a picture by every painted pumpkin. Right when we were leaving we found this one:
To say Abby is obsessed with Rapunzel is an understatement. She was so happy to find 'her girl' today! :) What a fun day! Now we are finishing up laundry and watching some football...doesn't get any better! :)
Hope you all had lovely weekends - here's to a fun week ahead! :)
